Jupiter Equatorial Low Rate Mode
Mode for ensuring continuous coverage while optimizing power and data volume. Consists of three sub-modes each of which is run separately: Plasma (JDC and JEI), energetic particles (JENI and JoEE) or ENA (JENI and JNA). Applies also to Jupiter High Inclination for now.

Continuous- Designed to run between downlink periods (16 h 20 min – 3 h 40 min Plasma, 6 h 20 min Energetic, 6 h 20 min ENA).
any rule that is used to schedule the observation: repetition rules, continuous (plasma instruments), one-off, every orbit, every day, etc
conditions that make the observation not possible (e.g. thruster firing)
Pointing: Zenith or Nadir axes within ±45deg of Jupiter corotation vector. Continuous whenever other PEP modes cannot be engaged including during downlink - Power39 W (to be optimized pending exact thermal requirements for heater operations)
