SWI_NADIR_STARE_PS
SWI NADIR STARE PS
Investigation of the atmospheric composition (and temperature) of Jupiter and the Galilean moons. This mode is nominally meant for deep integrations and requires numerous repetitions (e.g. monitoring of the moons). Two CTS spectra are recorded every 60 seconds over 10000 channels (16 bits coding). Position-switch calibration method.

This mode can be used from any JUICE-Jupiter distance, but preferentially from large distances, i.e. when the target size is <1 x the FWHM. Repetition: ~once per day for Galilean moons from large distances. For Jupiter (SWI JUP LIMB STARE usually preferred).
any rule that is used to schedule the observation: repetition rules, continuous (plasma instruments), one-off, every orbit, every day, etc
TBD
conditions that make the observation not possible (e.g. thruster firing)
