Description:

JMAG mode (FIB FOB Light Only), this mode ensures that while FIB and FOB are collecting science the Scalar sensor also has power to its laser but is not collecting science data. This helps to protect the fibres from radiation damage, necessary for the Europa phase due to its radiation environment.
