UVS_JUP_AP_LIMB_SCAN
UVS Jupiter AP Limb Scan
Monitoring auroral and airglow emissions in limb scans which requires a continuous S/C motion to point to limb and scan over planetary limb, using the AP port. Observation performed in pixel list mode to reach a time resolution of 0.001 s.

Advanced

- Specific cadence for a given period during the tour, to be constrained by 1 Gbit/week data downlink. - Distance to Jupiter R<20 Rj - To assess temporal evolution requires repetitive observations, including over short.Note: Total data volume is 88 Mbits (8 spectral bins, 512 spatial bins, 16 bit value, and 0.001s time resolution).
any rule that is used to schedule the observation: repetition rules, continuous (plasma instruments), one-off, every orbit, every day, etc
N/A
conditions that make the observation not possible (e.g. thruster firing)
