MAJ_JUP_DISK_SLEW
MAJ Jupiter Off-Nadir slew
Observations of Jupiter clouds and spectroscopy of minor gases.
Scanning the instrument slit over Jovian disk (vertical direction) by means of the S/C slew. aims to cover the entire equatorial region (-30°:+30°)

Pointing: OFF_NADIR, CONTINUOUS SLEW (« continuous S/C scan »)

Satellite orientation: HORIZONTAL
Duration: 20 min per cube

If data volume is available, a set of 2-3 cubes (depending on distance) shall be acquired for a full longitudinal coverage of the visible hemisphere every Jupiter rotation (9.55 h). This requires re-pointing between individual cubes. See MAJIS_JUP_DISK_MOSAIC This mode is preferentially used for JANUS-MAJIS joint observations
any rule that is used to schedule the observation: repetition rules, continuous (plasma instruments), one-off, every orbit, every day, etc
TBD
conditions that make the observation not possible (e.g. thruster firing)
