Flyby Acquisition mode with 10% DC mode.

RIME observations during flyby with variable instrument parameters, high vertical resolution and deep penetration.

Since during flybys the instrument parameters (i.e. pulse repetition frequency) varies to adapt to the altitude and speed changes, both datarate and power consumption are not constant for the entire acquisition duration. Datarate max and min bound profiles could be computed analysing the instantaneous altitude and velocity w.r.t. the moon surface. Shielding from Jupiter noise is advisable but due to the sporadic nature of Jupiter noise RIME should be operated in the unshielded areas too. To be noted that during Europa Flybys the Jupiter noise shadow cone boundary is often very close to the trajectory around closest approach, thus very small variations of altitude and latitude of the CA can result in huge variations of the full Jupiter noise shadow duration.

The data rate strongly depends on the altitude uncertainty a priori knowledge.
