Abstract

JUICE cruise trajectory report for a given meta-kernel. This report includes a subset for the Cruise phase of the JUICE SOC Trajectory report and also provides a digest of the difference in between the current orbit and attitude files from Flight Dynamcs for the Cruise phase (ORBC/ATTC) as compared with the previous delivery. Previous versions of the reports can be accessed from this link: https://juicesoc.esac.esa.int/cruise_reports/

The following geometrical quantites are shown with the grountrack of the flybys:

The following geometrical quantites are shown for the flybys:

Ephemeris Digest

ORBC and ATTC files

Flight Dynamics delivers ORBC and ATTC files for the Cruise phase.

These files are converted into SPICE Kernels upon SOC reception

ORBC and ATTC Coverage

In this section the coverage of the current ORBC/ATTC delivery is compared to the previous one.

The following plot provides the +Z axis boresight RA/DEC in J2000 to quickly assess the implemented attitude.

Plots for updates assessment

This section provides a number of plots to assess the differences in between the two deliveries in addition to an assessment of the changes in the flybys geometries. For the time series the timespan to compare them is based on:

The following table provides a summary of the flyby differences in between the trajectories:
